The Indian Boundary YMCA will begin accepting applications for their licensed preschool program for children ages 2 to 5 on Wednesday, February 8 for YMCA members, Wednesday, February 15 for non-members.  The program runs mornings and afternoons Monday through Friday from September through May.  The program focuses on gross/fine motor development, and cognitive skills, health/safety skills and social skills.  Activities include kindergarten readiness, Jolly Phonics, creative art, music, dramatic play, storytelling, and indoor and outdoor free play.  Children in the three-year-old and four/five-year-old classes will also receive free swimming lessons.

Indian Boundary’s preschool students are supervised by staff who meet state standards as outlined by the Department of Children and Family Services and participate in YMCA training seminars to enhance their skills.  Please contact Linda Gerardi at the Indian Boundary YMCA 630.929.2436 for more details and registration information.
