Herrick Middle School Students Perform "Oliver"

Herrick Middle School is proud to present “Oliver” on Thursday, Nov. 17 and Friday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m.

“Oliver” is the musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ classic tale of an orphan who runs away from an orphanage and hooks up with a group of pick pockets and later discovers he is not fit for a life a crime. 

Popular numbers featured include "Food, Glorious Food", "Consider Yourself", "As Long as He Needs Me", "You've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two" and "Where Is Love?."

“’Oliver’ is a classic that teaches some great lessons about life, love and making good choices,” said Georgann Grecco, Herrick’s choir director. “It’s a great musical for people of all ages.” 

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and tickets are $6 and available by calling Herrick (630) 719-5810.

Assisting Grecco with the musical production is Sarah Williams, Herrick language arts and reading teacher.
