Ballydoyle to Hold Burger Challenge this Saturday
Inaugural Burger Throwdown to take place on Saturday, June 9 at 3 p.m.
How good are your homemade burgers? If you think they're restaurant worthy, Ballydoyle will give you an opportunity this Saturday to prove it.
In its inaugural Ballydoyle Burger Throwdown on Saturday, June 9 at 3 p.m., amateur chefs will pit their burgers against each other, with the winner getting $100 dollars and their creation put on Ballydoyle's summer menu.
Contestants will create two burgers for judging on-site by a panel of judges while audience members will get to eat mini versions of the contestants entries cooked by the Ballydoyle staff. For contestants, the entry fee is $25, while those who just want to eat the food can do so for $10.
Ingredients for the burgers will be provided by Ballydoyle, but if you think you need something elaborate that they might not have in their kitchen, Ballydoyle is asking you to tell them ahead of time.
As of Wednesday, six people have signed up for the contest, so if you like those odds, sign up by buying tickets HERE.
