The Community High School District 99 School Board will hold a special/workshop meeting tonight beginning at 7 p.m. with a closed session to consider a personnel matter and a student disciplinary case. The meeting will be held at South High School, 1436 Norfolk St.

Upon returning from closed session, the board will be asked to take action on the administration's recommendation to expel a student for the remainder of the school year. A workshop on board goals will follow. The board will then return to closed session to discuss pending or imminent legal action against or affecting the district.

Visitors who wish to address the board will get their chance following the second closed session and before adjournment.
