Body Discovered in Portable Toilet at Hillcrest School
Body of 24-year-old found in portable toilet at Hillcrest School on June 18.
The body of 24-year-old Ryan Smigla of Downers Grove was found on June 18 around 5 a.m. inside of a portable toilet at Hillcrest School, officials say.
The cause of death appears to be drug overdose, said Downers Grove Police Department Sergeant Harry Andler, but official autopsy results might take up to 10 weeks, according to the DuPage County Coroner's office.
The body was discovered by a friend who was looking for Smigla after last having contact with him around 11 p.m. on June 17. The friend was able to track Smigla's location via his cellphone.
No official missing person report was filed with the Downers Grove Police Department.

Very sad , this young man needed help and it sounds like no one was there for him . Just hope he was right with the Lord.

Hey Chaz! Ryan had all the love and support anyone could ever ask for. i find it very rude and low of someone to even say something like that on here knowing his family and friends can see this. Maybe you should keep your comments to yourself and not judge a situation you know nothing about.
