The Village of Downers Grove and Creative Recycling will team up Saturday to host a free electronics recycling event.
From 9 a.m. to noon, volunteers will be on hand at Village Hall, 801 Burlington Ave., to collect various electronic items that are banned from Illinois landfills.
Accepted items include televisions, computers, laptops, monitors, printers, computer peripherals, VCR/DVD players, gaming systems and MP3 players. For a complete list, see the PDF attached to this article.
Additional recycling events will be held April 6, May 4 and June 1, according to the village website.
