The Downers Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry is searching for the best pet Halloween costume in town.
Monday is the final day to submit photos for the 2012 Howl-o-ween Bash, hosted by the Chamber's Young Professionals Network. The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Emmett's Ale House, 5200 Main St. in downtown Downers Grove.
Those wishing to participate should submit a photo of their pet in a Halloween costume to info@downersgrove.org.
During the Howl-o-ween Bash on Wednesday, guests will "throw a few bones" toward their favorite costumes by placing donations in their designated bowls. The winning pet will receive a prize.
All proceeds will benefit the West Suburban Humane Society, 1901 Ogden Ave. in Downers Grove.
