The USA no longer has a fertility rate that is replacing those who die, i.e., rate is below 2.1 and our population will soon begin shrinking. (Much of Europe has fertility rates in the 1.35 range and their population's are beginning to rapidly shrink. 2.1 keeps the population even.)
Last year they sold more adult diapers in Japan, than baby diapers.
Seems like as a society we would be better focusing on strong heterosexual unions and children that gay union. Only a very wealthy society could afford to deviate so far from the basics of life and spend time worrying about 2% of the population instead of the other 98%.

Dear Patch61, Are you aware that gay couples do have children, as well as adopting those who need families. More marriages = more children. Enough said.

Wow... I didn't know homosexual couples could reproduce. Thanks for the update. Or are they actually adopting from heterosexuals? I am confused. Please clarify.

John, Patch brought up a legitimate point about birth rates, etc. He's not a troll. You, however, are quite challenged. It's good that your people are gaining more rights though, we're all happy for you.
