Police Searching for Missing Downers Grove Man

UPDATED: Feb. 11, 5 a.m.

The search continues for Downers Grove resident William Foley, who was reported missing Wednesday evening after he failed to return home from work.

As of Sunday night, there have been no signs of Foley, according to a post by family members on the Facebook page "Help Find Bill Foley."

"The search continues throughout the weekend and we are hopeful that he will be safely returned to our family," the post states. "Please continue to spread the word and also to pray for Bill. Where ever he is, we pray that he is unharmed and able to come home to us."

Foley was last seen around 1 p.m. Wednesday at his place of employment in Lombard, police said. 

He is 5-foot-7, 195 pounds, with brownish-gray hair and blue eyes, and is believed to be driving a white 1997 Ford Escort with Illinois license plate 9985772, police said.

Anyone with information on Foley's whereabouts is asked to contact the Downers Grove Police Department at 630 434-5600 or 911 to verify his well being.

Police are searching for a Downers Grove man who has been missing since Wednesday afternoon.

William Foley, 55, was last seen around 1 p.m. Wednesday at his place of employment in Lombard, police said. He was reported missing by his family after not returning from work.

Foley is 5-foot-7, 195 pounds, with brownish-gray hair and blue eyes, according to police.
