I'd agree with Giordano's for stuffed pizza - it's great. But that's almost a separate category.

You need to try JR's place on belmont. They a great homemade pizza. Thin crust. The owner there used to own T.J. Roma Pizza in westmont on cass ave. They do breakfast and lunch too. I am happy to see him back in business.

Every place mentioned makes good quality pizza and it's a hard choice. My vote would go for Scuttlebutts. But it's very close with all the others mentioned so far.

Skuddlebutts is the BEST. Great pizza, great toppings, GLUTTEN free pizza, amazing sandwiches. Priced right. Customer Service is the best. Always friendly when i call and order. LOVE THIS PLACE.

L&F is the best, better than all obove but it is in wesmont.

I'm an Aurelio's man, the sauce makes all the difference. I'm always hoping that our crappy Giordano's location will close and Aurelio's will be able escape the 'Hole in the wall within Transient Motel' location and relocate to Main downtown.

Aurelio's is the favorite of my son and his friends and I like them located right where they are. The kids can zip down on their bikes and don't have to cross the tracks. It's great for pick ups, you can easily double park there if needed, can"t do that on Main Street.

Four kinds of pizza... The bacon/onion was soooooo gooooood!
The cinnamon fluffs, stromboli, mostaccioli, panzerotti, sausage and peppers, spinach and lettuce greens with salad bar toppings and dressing, pasta salad, long-cut French fries, and a large drink (with free refills) were ALL SO TASTY!
ALL OF THAT FOR ONLY $6.49 INCLUDING TAX!!! WHY WOULD ANYONE GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR LUNCH???!!!

(As much as I miss Zander's Cafe when the ORIGINAL OWNER was there, I am glad to see that an ORIGINAL OWNER has opened in the same location. SCUSA MI PIZZA!)

Had Giordano's again last Friday. Absolutely wonderful.

On a thin pizza, I hate when the pepperoni gets totally buried under the cheese and is not allowed to achieve a nice bit of crispiness.
