Ever thought that you could run the bases faster than the athletes you see on TV? Well now you can come out and prove it. Jewel-Osco will sponsor the DuPage Hounds’ “Run the Bases” for the 2012 season.

“Run the Bases” will be held at the conclusion of every home game, where fans of all ages will have the opportunity to run the bases just like they see their favorite players do.

The DuPage County Hounds Baseball Team is DuPage’s summer collegiate wood bat team.  The Hounds play their home games at the 1,100-seat Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex.  During the 2012 season, which is the team’s Inaugural Season, the Hounds will play a total of 46games, of which 23 will be played at home. The Hounds Home Opener is scheduled for Friday, June 1 at 7 p.m.  Single game tickets are only $8, group tickets start at $5 and season tickets are only $129 per seat.
