"Festival of Psalms" to Delight Audience at the Tivoli Theatre
Downers Grove, IL – The new Director of the Downers Grove Choral Society Dr. Amy Weller will be bringing her 60-voice community chorus to the Tivoli Theatre, at 5021 Highland Ave in downtown Downers Grove, as she conducts an afternoon of music on Sunday, April 29th at 3 PM. Tickets are $22 for general admission, $17 for seniors, and $7 for students.
In addition to the ever talented Downers Grove Choral Society members, the Sunday afternoon program will also feature the Chicago premiere for Hailstork’s “I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes” with tenor Cornelius Johnson and Mendelssohn’s “Psalm 42” with soprano Christine Steyer.

The Tivoli Theatre, only single-screen theatre in the western suburbs of Chicago, was selected by the American Institute of Architects as one of the 150 best places to visit in Illinois, and was voted "Best Movie Theatre" by readers of West Suburban Living three years in a row.
