A Varietal Comparative Blind Tasting
Appealing to even the novice wine enthusiast, this varietal comparative tasting is an offspring from the classic blind tasting format. Here you’ll taste eight wines ‘blinded’ in brown paper bags - two wines of the same varietal from two different regions - four varietals in total. We‘re pairing specific cheeses and charcuterie to each wine. It’s a fun way to learn how various regions contribute their own distinctive character to the same variety. Wine tasting basics, how to smell and taste wine, will be explained too.
Discover which varietal and which region you prefer. Gather your inquisitive wine enthusiast friends – this one is guaranteed a fun and educational time for all. Hosted by Wine Director Todd Hoffman and held at Lemon Tree
