Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital Hosts 'Hollywood Nights' Fundraiser

The hospital's Oct. 26 benefit will support the renovation and modernization of its cardiovascular and diagnostic rehabilitation services.

Tickets are still available for Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital’s major fundraiser of the year.

“Festival 2013: Hollywood Nights” will take place Oct. 26 at the Bolingbrook Golf Club. Tickets are $250 per person. Reservations can be made at www.advocatehealth.com/festival

Proceeds benefit the renovation and modernization of the hospital’s cardiovascular and diagnostic rehabilitation services.

“Our annual festival is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a night out while, at the same time, supporting services that are crucial to our community,” said Cheryl Kehl, event co-chairwoman.

Cocktails and gaming start at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. and dancing at 9 p.m. Hollywood-inspired costumes are encouraged.

Items available during the live auction include the ultimate kitchen makeover, a seven-night European river cruise, seven-night Hawaiian vacation and golf packages at Medinah Golf Club, Edgewood Valley Country Club, La Grange Country Club, Bolingbrook Golf Club and Willow Crest Golf Club.

During the evening, the 2013 Good Samaritan of the Year Award will be presented to Naperville residents Vince and Sandy Lovelle in recognition of their commitment to the health and well-being of the community through a spirit of generosity, volunteerism and leadership at Good Samaritan Hospital.

“We are grateful to the festival committee and all of our supporters,” said Dave Fox, hospital president. “Without their generosity, we couldn’t fulfill our mission.”

Sponsorship opportunities also are available. For more information, call 630-275-6518.
