Downers Grove to Hold Annual ComEd Town Hall Meeting

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 to discuss the need for improvements to the reliability of electricity service within the village.

The village of Downers Grove will host a ComEd Town Hall meeting on Thursday, Sept. 19, to discuss ongoing issues with the reliability of electricity service within the village.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Public Works Building, 5101 Walnut Ave. The meeting is open to all Downers Grove residents, and will be facilitated by village officials and representatives from ComEd.

Town hall meetings with ComEd have been held the past two years in Downers Grove. Each year, the forums allow the village to president its annual ComEd reliability report, which outlines specific problem areas in ComEd's service.

This year's report is expected to be released this week, according to Village Manager David Fieldman.

Those who cannot attend the forum are encouraged to send comments or concerns to Downers Grove management analyst Allison Deitch at adeitch@downers.us.
