Hornet Swim Club Hosts Tryouts for Fall Session

Storm report meetings continue: The village of Downers Grove will host another open house Tuesday to obtain community input on its preliminary 2013 Storm Report. The meeting will be conducted from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Downers Grove Public Works Department, 5101 Walnut Ave.

Hornet Swim Club tryouts: The Hornet Swim Club will host tryouts for its fall session on Tuesday at the Downers Grove Swim and Racquet Club, 5560 Fairview Ave. Tryouts for returning swimmers begin at 5 p.m., while newcomers are slated to swim at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
