Take a run before tearing into some turkey on Thanksgiving.

The annual Bonfield Express 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, at Main and Grove streets.

Held every Thanksgiving morning, the 5K treks through the downtown and side streets of Downers Grove on a USTAF certified course.

Gift card prizes will be awarded to the top three overall male finishers and the top three overall female finishers.
