Music and dance—they go together, don’t they? From the simplest movements of an early childhood dance to the beautifully choreographed dances of classical ballet, there is something compelling about the experience of moving in response to music.

At their spring concert, the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale wants to take you on a journey through a variety of dances. From the German folk dance with its characteristic lilting triple meter, to Shaker tunes, and even a bit of the tango, the show will be filled with sounds that just may make you want to dance!

It is the Chorale's delight to welcome as our guests a select group of junior dancers from the Salt Creek Ballet. These young dancers will be dancing with the chorale on three of their selections.
