Amdur Productions proudly returns to Downers Grove to present the 36th Annual Downtown Downers Grove Art Festival, taking place THIS weekend in the heart of Downers Grove. More than 140 juried artists from around the world will showcase their original works at this FREE outdoor art festival, presented in cooperation with the Village of Downers Grove. Exceptional examples of ceramics, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paintings, drawings, photography and wood can be found at the festival in a variety of price points. While on-site, festival-goers will get a behind the scene look at what goes into making these creations with interactive art demos and educational booth chats taking place all weekend long.
In addition to the incredible artwork available for purchase at the festival, art lovers will enjoy live music on the music stage sponsored by WLIT throughout the weekend. Great festival food and fun for kids, including an art scavenger hunt and spin art, add to the experience of the Downtown Downers Grove Art Festival. Daily drawings will take place and several lucky festival-goers will receive Art Buck$, courtesy of Amdur Productions, to spend on a piece of art at any of Amdur Productions’ 2013 festivals!
