Unmasking domestic violence is the focus of Family Shelter Service’s benefit gala for 2014. "This year's theme reinforces the concept of the 'mask' that our clients affected by domestic violence must don each day in order to survive on a daily basis," said Family Shelter Service Executive Director Judie Caribeaux. "They are putting on the face of the happy mom and the competent worker — while underneath they wrestle with the torment of being in an abusive relationship where oftentimes leaving can be more dangerous than staying."

Rub elbows with eight members of the NFL Players Association — advocates against domestic violence and supporters of Family Shelter Service who will be in attendance.

Enjoy live music, a multi-course dinner, four-hour open bar, dancing, as well as a wide variety of other live entertainment activities and sensory delights.

Be amazed by the performance of Art Beat Live (http://artbeatlive.com) a renowned, large format artist.

Savor the flavors, sights and sounds of Venice during Carnevale, with costumed performers, stiltwalkers, mimes and a multi-media presentation.

Bid on extraordinary vacation packages, special event tickets, one-of-a-kind items in both the silent and live auctions, or buy a raffle ticket for your choice of one of the all-inclusive, exotic, overseas vacation packages.
