421 students at Downers Grove North, Downers Grove South, Hinsdale Central, and Benet Academy registered as new voters in the last few weeks. The registration drive, by the League of Women Voters of Downers Grove/Woodridge/Lisle and the Downers Grove chapter of the American Association of University Women, is an important part of the commitment of these organizations to voter education and citizen participation. Volunteer registrars in the photos are LWV and/or AAUW members Barb Ciesko, Christine Myles, Jackie Ziff, Patty Martin, and LWV Voter Services chair Robbie Richards.
