Rover Rescue Dog of the Week

Hey!  My name is Louie, Louie.  “Me gotta go now”, to a good home, that is!  Do you know anyone looking for a popular Bassett Hound/ Beagle Mix??  I am 2 years old and a spectacular medium sized dog weighing 46 lbs.  I am not really the party animal that my name indicates, but more of a lover of all.  I get along well with other dogs and people of all ages.   I enjoy getting lots of attention and belly rubs are the bomb.  But my most favorite thing of all is walks.  I LOVE to go for walks!!  Did someone say the “W” word??   My foster family has been teaching me all kind of life skills.  I know sit, down, walk at a heel, and to go potty outside.  I have been told that I am really smart and learn more every day.  I still have a little puppy wild side in me, so I am crated at night and when left home alone.  You never know what I will find to entertain myself with otherwise.  I do have to warn you that I have been known to get carsick.  I promise no alcohol is involved, but I will either toss my cookies or empty my bladder.  My foster family wonders if it is due to anxiety, but it is not every ride?!?  If you are planning a road trip, you may want to consider a crate for me.  Otherwise, I am a happy-go-lucky dog that would love to make you smile!  I promise to be the life of the party!  Will you be my dance partner?  If the answer is Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, please call Teri now at 630-897-7454.  What are you waiting for?  Let’s Go!
