Special Consensus bluegrass quartet to perform Jan. 5 in Lombard

LOMBARD – The Special Consensus, a Grammy-nominated bluegrass quartet, will perform at 3 p.m. Jan. 5 at the Maple Street Chapel, 220 S. Main St. in Lombard.

Special Consensus is one of the longest-running outfits in bluegrass history and has appeared on numerous National Public Radio programs and cable television shows. The concert is a part of Maple Street Chapel Folk Concerts.

Tickets for the show are $20 and ticket reservations are highly recommended. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
