Tivoli Theatre to Host Midnight Showing of “Blazing Saddles” August 29

The Tivoli Theatre will host a special midnight screening of“Blazing Saddles” on Friday, August 29, 2014. Admission to the midnight showis $5 per person, and tickets are available at the Tivoli Box Office, 5021 Highland Avenue, Downers Grove, or online at www.classiccinemas.com. This is the 40thanniversary of the satirical Western comedy film, which has been digitally remasteredfor the big screen.

“Blazing Saddles” was directed by Mel Brooks and stars Cleavon Little, Slim Pickensand Gene Wilder. It was written by Brooks, Andrew Bergman, Richard Pryor, Norman Steinberg and Al Unger. The movie was nominated for three Academy Awards and isranked No. 6 on the American Film Institute’s 100 Years…100 Laughs list.
