Second Saturday with the Saints

This special series will deepen our understanding and love of these great friends of God who lived on this earth, experienced temptations and faced problems. They were human like us! So, how did they gain heaven?

Join us and our guest speakers each month as we will encounter one Saint or Blessed. By the end of the year we will have met many wonderful friends interceding for us and cheering us on our earthly journey! Some lived long lives; others died while still young. Some were close to God from early childhood and teenage years, others learned the hard way that only God can make us happy.

We will meet Saints from different nations, races and centuries, starting with the earli-est days of the Church right down to our own times; priests, nuns, laymen, laywomen, religious, moms and dads, teenagers and children-all friends of God.
