Library Cancels Big Read Author Event With Phil Caputo
A sad turn of events for Downers Grove Library's Big Read author visit.
The Downers Grove Public Library is canceling the Big Read's visit with Philip Caputo scheduled for Thursday, May 1, at Ashton Place in Willowbrook, due to the author's sudden, serious illness.
Book programs and discussions centered around Caputo's bestseller, The Longest Road, will continue through April 30.
We wish Mr. Caputo a speedy and full recovery.
