Prince, McCollum Park Ponds Open for Skating
Bundle up and hit the ice—two of the park district's three skating ponds are open for business.
There might not be many, but we know of one perk to this "Polar Vortex."
Prince Pond and McCollum Park pond are open for ice skating, according to the Downers Grove Park District Website.
The park district updates the status of each pond, deeming it "open," "closed" or "on hold." Two of the three ponds are open and ready for skaters.
Just in case, always double-check the website before you go: green means 'Go.'
