Prepare a Memoir for Mother's Day

Downers Grove— Prepare  a Memoir for Mother's Day. The Downers Grove Park District is offering for the first time a Memoir Writing Workshop for Seniors; remember that everyone has a story to tell. This is an opportunity to preserve your stories about  growing up, falling in love, raising children, volunteer efforts, overcoming obstacles, careers and more. 

This two-part workshop is offered twice. The first is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. till noon Thursdays, April 7 and April 14; the second is scheduled from 6:30-9 p.m. Thursdays, April 14 and April 21. Both are located at the Downers Grove Park District, 935 Maple Ave., Downers Grove, IL , 60515. To register, call DGPD at (630) 963.1300.
