Man, Woman Found Dead After Domestic Incident in Downers Grove

A man and a woman were found dead in their Downers Grove home Friday after an apparent domestic incident, police said.

The bodies of Thomas F. Smith, 41, and Jennifer M. Smith, were discovered in the 6200 block of Park Avenue while police officers were conducting a well-being check, authorities said.
 
The incident appears to be domestic related, and there is no threat to the public, said Lt. Mike Willison, spokesman for the Downers Grove Police Department.

The cause of death is still under investigation, Willison said.
