Downtown Downers Grove Businesses Host Indoor Sidewalk Sale

Several downtown Downers Grove businesses are teaming up this week for their annual Indoor Sidewalk Sale.

Businesses will offer special deals and markdowns from Thursday through Sunday, according to the Downtown Downers Grove Management Corporation.

Anderson's Bookshop, 5112 Main St.

Baubles and More, 5121 Main St.

All jewelry, handbags and scarves are 40 percent off, including all new spring accessories. All winter apparel will be marked up to 70 percent off.

Bello Tea, 5111 Main St.

Up to 20 percent off, as well as tasting free selected hot tea samples.

Brigantine Gallery, 5149 Main St.

Many paintings will be reduced as much as 50 percent for an inventory clearance. Drawings for Paint and Play classes will be drawn each day. Special art class prices will be offered.

Up to 70 percent off select items; 20 percent off any single item (sale items excluded); 30 percent off kitchen and baby items; 50 percent off Christmas decord; all ornaments are buy one get one free.

DLD Dance Center, 912 Curtiss St.

Open with special deals on dance classes and dance birthday parties. Book a flash mob for your next big event. Open Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. to sign up to be flash mob dancers.
