OK, so maybe this isn't the Ace Ventura gig you've always dreamed of, but if you love pets and are looking for a part-time job on the weekends, Blue Buffalo is hiring a product specialist (what they call a pet detective) to be the face of products to pet parents.

A “fast growing social media company” in Homewood is looking to fill a social media position. “Individual must have strong skills in creative writing, PR, email marketing, and blogging.  Candidate will need to be able to provide various status reports to clients and corporate.  Candidate needs to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.”
