Munch Madness Round Three: Zest at Lemon Tree vs. JR's Place

Show your hometown pride by casting your vote for Downers Grove restaurants during Munch Madness.

We're one day into voting for , meaning only four restaurants remain in Lemont, Darien, Downers Grove and Woodridge.

If there's one thing that's clear, it's that Patch readers love their pizza.

In Lemont, we're asking you to decide between pizza and pancakes. In Darien, it's between pizza and Asian cuisine. And in Woodridge we have a family-owned pizza place against authentic Italian fare.

Thankfully we have a little variety in Downers Grove, where a high-end grocery store is going head-to-head with classic American food.

Voting has been extended until 5 p.m. Monday to accommodate the holiday weekend. Show your loyalty by commenting for your pick on this story, on Facebook or via Twitter by tagging it with your Patch town's handle (that's @DarienILPatch@LemontPatch,@DG_Patch and @PatchWoodridge).

Jimbo's Pizza opened in 1998 and has been a local favorite ever since. It's famous for its "Lemontster," the largest pizza in town, but also offers sandwiches, appetizers and catering.

Our 2011 winner! Clara's Pasta is that neighborhood Italian place where you go to get great authentic food and to be treated like family.

Papa's offers its special thin crust pizza, pasta, Italian beef, salad or a chicken dinner. There's also Mama's special pizza, which includes cheese, sausage, onion, bacon and barbeque sauce. The dining room is a throwback to the 1970s.
