Munch Madness Round Two: Zest at Lemon Tree vs. Berto's

The two biggest DG vote-getters in round one face off.

We're one day into voting for . Today we're asking you to make some tough choices: Pizza or tacos? Gourmet grocer or hearty sandwich maker? Gyros and milkshakes or delicatessen favorites? Greek delights or ... more pizza?

For DG, it's Zest at Lemon Tree against Berto's Deli and Pasta Shoppe. In round one, these two restaurants were responsible for nearly half of all votes cast for any of the original 16 DG restaurants. Who comes out ahead in round two?

 Mi Hacienda is a family-owned and -operated Mexican restaurant that has been in business for seven years. 

 A Chicago favorite for pizza! Also check out soups, salads, sandwiches and pasta. Dine in their cozy dining area or carry out. 

Second Round (Downers Grove) 

 vs.  

 Lemon Tree Grocer is a high end and specialty grocery store offering fresh ingredients and foreign delicacies at competitive prices. 

 Locally owned and operated since 1998, Berto's Pasta Pantry specializes in homemade pastas and sub sandwiches.

Second Round (Lemont) 

 vs. 

 This joint is famous for its butter garlic fries, gyros and milkshakes.

 Sweetwater Deli is a family-owned market and delicatessen that serves a broad selection of fresh, high quality products; including breads, produce, giardeniera, oils, sauces and more.

Second Round (Woodridge) 

 vs.  

 This family-owned and -operated restaurant prides itself on its expansive menu of homestyle cooking using only the freshest and finest ingredients. Steven's serves a variety of cuisines including Italian, Greek and American.

 Papa's offers its special thin crust pizza, pasta, Italian beef, salad or a chicken dinner. There's also Mama's special pizza, which includes cheese, sausage, onion, bacon and barbeque sauce. The dining room is a throwback to the 1970s.
