I notice the absence of votes for Starbucks. It seems that the ubiquity of Starbucks has caused it to be unfashionable among certain populations, i.e., those who wish to be seen as sophisticated and trendy. The fact is that Starbucks' product quality (and certainly, consistency) is seldom if ever, exceeded in the USA. Only in Europe have I experienced equal or superior coffee/espresso, particularly in Italy and France. If the subject is quality of coffee and espresso drinks, Starbucks is tops. If ambience and/or food is the basis for a vote, then others may be legitimate favorites.
