Panera Drive-Thru Nears Completion on Ogden Avenue

A manager at the Downers Grove restaurant said the drive-thru lane could be open as early as Monday.

Customers at Panera Bread in Downers Grove will soon be able to order their sandwiches and soups from the comfort of their cars.

Panera, 160 Ogden Ave., is expected to open its drive-thru window next week—possibly Monday, according to restaurant employees.

The opening comes after several weeks of construction on the drive-thru lane, a 9-inch barrier curb for safety, and upgrades to the restaurant's bathrooms and food preparation areas.
