And now for something completely different… The historic Tivoli Theatre is excited to present the very first midnight screening of the fully remastered digital print of “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” (PG), along with a never-before-seen feature of Terry Gilliam’s “Lost Animations” before the movie. This special presentation is slated for Friday, May 25th at midnight, located at the Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Ave. Movie admission is $5, and tickets can be purchased at the Tivoli box office. The film will be presented on the Tivoli Theatre’s newly enhanced 4k Digital Projection system.

“Monty Python and the Holy Grail” is the classic 1975 British comedy starring the favorite comedy group Monty Python - Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. The film was directed by Gilliam and Jones and was created during the gap between the third and fourth series of their popular BBC television program “Monty Python's Flying Circus.” “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” is an adventurous comedy in which King Arthur and his knights embark on a low-budget search for the Grail, encountering many silly obstacles on their quest. Eric Idle turned this cult classic film into the successful Broadway musical “Spamalot” – winner of 2005 Tony Award Best Musical.
