CODY, American Bulldog / Labrador Mix - seeking ADOPTION

Cody is a sweet, happy boy who came from a shelter in Georgia. He has not only come a long way in distance but as a former shelter dog as well. Cody lives in his current foster home with a family of 3 children ranging from 8-12. He regularly has visits from smaller children as young as 6 months and tho he can knock them over in his excitement, he is perfectly well mannered around them. Cody also lives with 2 large breed dogs both male and female and really loves the companionship. And although he shares a house with 2 cats, we don't recommend that he live with any. 

Cody's favorites include stuffed animals that squeak, his rope toy, his daily treat of cheese and cookies, and lathering on kisses to anyone who will let him. He is quite athletic and has been the best partner for any and all outdoor excursions. Cody is very much a high energy dog and will constantly be on the move if permitted. His eagerness to give love and attention to everyone he meets is certainly one of his best traits. 

Cody is most likely an American Pit Bull mix weighing approximately 45-50 pounds, and about 2 years old. He is house broken, crate trained and knows basic commands as well as some extras. He knows sit, stay, halt (stop walking and sit and wait for the next command) come, down (lay down), off (as in "off the couch") and wait. Wait is waiting for permission to eat when food is being put out. He also gives paw and will roll onto his side aka "over". He is a lover of chewing and as long as there are plenty of toys and bones around he leaves the people stuff alone. Cody is a handsome boy who is waiting for his forever family to come adopt him and take him home. 

This dog has been neutered, inoculated against diseases, dewormed, treated for Heartworm Disease and now placed on monthly preventatives, plus microchipped.
