Downers Grove Man Dies In Work Accident
Cemetery worker suffered head injuries in accident on Friday.
A Downers Grove man died of injuries suffered while working at Oak Ridge cemetery in Proviso Township on Friday.
The man, 40 year-old Francisco Chavez of 3745 Winthrop Way, died when a lawnmower he was working on slipped off the jack it was on and fell on him Friday afternoon, WLS 890 AM reported.
The death was ruled an accident.
