1. 5921 Main St., Downers Grove: Priced at $649,000, according to listings.

This is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom, 4,200 square foot house built in 1992.

The home has an open floor plan, an intercom system, hardwood floors and an alarm system. It has a large master suite, granite counters in the kitchen and walk-in closets in the bedrooms. The finished basement has a full bathroom and an extra bedroom. Additionally, the seller is offering $2,000 for cabinets to the buyer.

2. 56 Sawgrass Dr., Lemont: Priced at $650,000, according to listings.

This is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom, single family house built in 1996 on a half-acre lot.

The ranch home's great room includes a fireplace and a wall of windows overlooking a golf course. The gourmet kitchen has cherry cabinets, granite counters and a separate eating area. The master suite's bathroom has heated floors and a soaking tub, and the home's finished walk out lower level has a wet bar, recreation rooms, a bathroom and a bedroom.

The problem is the Dept of Agriculture's standards are aimed at farm animals. The standards are wayRead More too low for pet breeding but the USDA has not yet differentiated housepets. She is giving the standard boilerplate answer all puppy mill breeders give. The fact that she passed inspections doesn't mean a thing. Everyone knows the vet she has enlisted is a puppy mill breeder himself so that is an empty argument too. Blah, blah, blah - the same old answers. You've got a good smoke & mirrors show going Madam, but the public is starting to catch on.....
