Village of Downers Grove Extends Deadline on Flood Damage Survey

Residents and business owners with flood damage are being asked to complete a short survey so the village can determine whether state and federal disaster funding will be made available.

The village of Downers Grove, working as an advocate for residents and businesses, is conducting a short survey to assess flood damage.

The survey, available through the village's website, is the first step in determining whether state and federal disaster funding will be made available, officials said. It is not an application for individuals to receive funds.

Everyone with flood damage should complete the survey, including those who have already called to report flooding. Although the survey initially had a deadline of April 24, the village announced that it will accept responses until further notice.
