2nd Annual “Singers on Stage” Vocal Competition

Shanahan’s Food & Spirits
is hosting the 2nd Annual ‘Singers on Stage” vocal competition.  The contest runs every Thursday at 7:30pm for
five weeks beginning Thursday July 18th and ending August 15th
with the announcement of the big winner. 

 The musical venue will
include both live and pre-recorded music. 
The competition on August 8th will feature a live music venue
and will take place at Shanahan’s of Downers Grove located at:  2009 Ogden Ave. in Downers Grove.  All other Thursday competitions will be held
at Shanahan’s of Woodridge located at: 
1999 75th Street in Woodridge.

Ten contestants were selected
to compete for $2,000 in cash and prizes. 
It’s a double elimination contest and each week contestants will be
eliminated until the winner is announced on August 15th.   “The talent is exceptional,” says Rich Moore,
owner of Shanahan’s.  “It’s a great
opportunity to come out and support our local talent!”   

The judges will score each
contestant based upon specific requirements which will count for 60% of their
total score.  The other 40% of the score
comes from audience participation. 
Audience participation is open to the general public and there is no
cover charge.  Seating is first come,
first serve, so come early and cheer on our local talent!
