Downers Grove – Calling all doggie detectives! Happy Dog
Barkery invites you and your forever friend to the 5th Annual Scavenger
Hunt. On Sunday, October 13th, Downers Grove goes to the dogs, where
with the help of their human companions, they will unleash their inner “Scooby
Doo” to solve clues, questions and riddles for treats and prizes!
The cost to enter is $8 per dog, and pre-registration is
required. Please call Happy Dog Barkery at 630-512-0822 or email Felecia@happydogbarkery.com with your name, phone number, email
address and how many dogs will be attending. Registration includes a goodie bag for your
best friend and the chance to enter a raffle for several gift baskets.
Check in at Happy Dog Barkery from 11am – 3pm, then take
your clue sheet and follow the trail through historic downtown Downers Grove to
unravel the mystery. If you have a problem untangling the brain teasers or
answering the trivia questions, never fear, several local businesses and 5
special rescue organizations will be on-hand to help you crack the codes and
find the boxes with special treats inside!

Paws series: Best Paw Forward – a 4x4 piece with a single paw for $25.00,
Walk of Fame Paws – a 4x8 piece with both front paws and a special date for $35
(the most popular option) or Paws & People – front paws and the owner’s
hand with name and date for $75. In addition, Gallery’s Choice will offer
stylized doggie portraits by local artist Katie Jarecki; or you can sign up for
their new Mosaic Dog Bowl Stand class. Samples of the artwork will be available
the day of the Scavenger Hunt.
