Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club New Member Winter Social
The Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club kicks off 2014 with a prospective member social event on Tuesday, January 28th from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Emmett's Ale House located at 5200 Main street in Downers Grove. Prospective members can expect the meeting to be engaging and rewarding with a unique hands on service project as well as social hour. They will learn about the Club's effort to support the local charity, Sharing Connections, which membership has selected as the community improvement project for this year's community service effort.
"The Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club is an amazing outlet to give back to the community," said Club President Joanne Vought. "Since September, members have committed more than 250 service hours in the Downers Grove community including: collecting school supplies benefiting Hope's Front Door, donating fruit for PADS, delivering Thanksgiving meals to area FISH families, and supporting several local families at Christmas."
The Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club recognizes there are a lot of leaders in the community and encourages them to join our organization.
