Downers Grove North HS Alumni Band Performance

North High School invites all band alumni to join the 10th Annual Alumni Band to participate in a special halftime performance during the school’s Homecoming game on September 27th. The varsity football game versus Lyons Township High School will take place at 7:30 pm. 

“This is always a fun event for our alumni and community,” says North High School’s Marching Band Director Bill Miller. “We’ve found that school spirit endures throughout generations, and music is one way we can celebrate and stay connected with each other." In the past, seven decades of alumni have performed together during the event. In recent years, one family has had three generations represented. 

Band alumni will perform with current Trojan marching band members. Participants may use their instruments or borrow one from the school. In previous years, the number of participants has ranged from 40 to 60. The band will rehearse just prior to the performance.
