Downers Grove South Girls Basketball 6th annual “Shoot for a Cure” Event

On Friday, February 7, 2014,  Downers Grove South Girls Basketball will host their 6th annual “Shoot for a Cure” Breast Cancer Event.  Downers Grove South and Morton Girls Varsity Basketball teams invite you to come out for a great basketball game and help support efforts to find the cure for breast cancer.  Freshman A game time is 4:30 p.m., Freshman B and Sophomores play at 6:00 p.m. and the Varsity at 7:30 p.m..

Spectators will have the opportunity to support such an important cause by participating in raffles for valuable prizes.   Raffle prizes range from gift cards to local restaurants and stores, adventures such as guided expert fishing expeditions, Bulls tickets, WNBA Chicago Sky tickets, White Sox tickets, and more.  Raffle winners will be announced after the varsity game and winners will not have to be present to win. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Kay Yow Breast Cancer Research Fund and the ongoing battle to eliminate breast cancer.
