BULLS/SOX ACADEMY, CHICAGO WHITE SOX TO HOST PITCHING CLUB IN DOWNERS GROVE

LISLE, IL. – The Bulls/Sox Academy announced today that it will be hosting a Chicago White Sox Pitching Club at the Downers Grove Park District at 4500 Belmont Road in Downers Grove.

The White Sox Pitching Club will give you a firsthand look at the pitching mechanics that all great pitchers use. Pitching with accuracy, velocity, and minimal arm strain is no accident.  There is a process that should be followed from the Big Leagues to Little Leagues and that is exactly what White Sox Pitching Coach, Don Cooper teaches to the current Sox pitching staff.  The Pitching Club will teach that same process. Professional Bulls/Sox Academy instructors will cover grips, arm action, balance points, and pitching from the wind up and stretch. Even if pitching isn’t in your future plans, throwing the ball correctly is critical to becoming a good overall baseball player.

The Pitching Club will start on Wednesday, February 13th and will run until March 6th. Enrollment is limited and is open to boys and girls, six to eleven. Session one for six to eight year olds will be from 3:45pm-4”45pm, immediately followed by Session two for nine to eleven year olds from 4:45pm-5:45pm. The cost is only $85.00 per athlete.
