LWV movie screening "Iron-Jawed Angels"
The League of Women Voters of Downers Grove/Woodridge/Lisle presents a free movie screening of "Iron-Jawed Angels", which tells the remarkable story of a group of dynamic young women who put their lives on the line in 1920 to fight for women’s right to vote.
An outstanding female ensemble (Hilary Swank, Frances O'Connor, Angelica Huston, Julia Ormond) is joined by Patrick Dempsey in this award-winning movie.
All are welcome. Join us at the movie, and take part in the discussion after the screening. Light refreshments will be served.
