International Day of the Girl Celebration

October 11th is
International Day of the Girl, a day created raise awareness of the
inequality women face all of the world, from limited access to education
& medical care, lack of legal rights, discrimination and violence.

This year, Love Letters to Yourself wants to celebrate this
day with all of you at the Dupage River Park in Naperville! We want to
come together in solidarity for all the women who yet to find their
voice, here and all over the world. Loving yourself is the first step
to achieving anything in your life, from nailing that job interview to getting away from a negative situation in your life.

We'll have an hour long, peaceful Yoga that starts at 3:30 and live
music. Also, from 3:30-5:00 we'll also have a women's business expo
showcasing local businesses that empower women!

Then at
5:00pm, the main event starts, the Butterfly Ceremony where we are going
to discover how to get back to the young girl we were, uninhibited,
free and loving. We're going to have a bonfire where everyone there
will receive a piece of paper to write something they wish to release
from their life and burn in the fire and a butterfly to write 1 thing
they love about themselves on.

We would love to have 200 of
these butterflies written on, which means we need at least 200 people to
come. Bring friends, family and loved ones, everyone is welcome so
share away!! Let's make this idea a reality!
