LEGO Robotics Camp: Minecraft 2 – Survival Bots (Starts June 30, Register now)

Children are born explorers. Their natural curiosity and ingenuity help them envision possibilities and develop innovative solutions to difficult technology problems. EFUN ACADEMY will challenge your student with authentic, hands-on explorations. The point of EFUN ACADEMY is to excite all students about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Prepare to be amazed at what your child can achieve – after all, Einstein and Newton were once children…

No prior LEGO experience or course materials are required. Students will be taught everything they need to know during class. Students will work in teams of two – friends are welcome to sign up as partners. Each course features a different collection of challenges. Students who take more than one course will be encouraged to use progressively more advanced techniques in their approaches to solving the challenges.

Minecraft 2 – Survival Bots: New for 2014! This course and Minecraft MakerBot are both based in the exciting and popular world of Minecraft. You may take either or both courses in any order. All new missions in this course are inspired by Minecraft’s survival mode. You and a partner will work together to build and program a LEGO robot to solve challenges like gathering materials needed for survival, crafting tools, building a home, and finding diamonds. You will also face challenges from Endermen and the legendary Ender Dragon! Students will work in pairs, so sign up with a friend for twice the fun! Ages 8-14.
