On August 30th at 2pm, State Senators, Mike Conley and Darlene Singer are coming to Monarch Landing to talk politics with the people!
Springfield 101 explains in simple terms the legislation process a bill goes through from the idea stage and on through both chambers of the General Assembly before it is presented to the Governor for his signature. It also explains why some bills never even get to the House or Senate floor to be voted on.
A great informational session for interested citizens and Poly Sci buffs. All are welcome!
